Today I received a very sweet gift from a friend, she’s very crafty and made an apron for each of the girls and the black one for me. I love getting things like this in the mail..
Tonight I made salsa and Dill Pickles..

I made these bread and butter pickles last weekend..cucumbers from our garden, my first harvest from my pickling plant..
Today we fired up the sauce pot again to make BBQ Sauce (our 2nd batch we made a batch last weekend and have already given it all away) and Spaghetti Sauce..

To Knitting. HA! I ended up making the prayer shawl I started into a baby blanket, and it’s finished. Tuesday night I came up with a cabled hand warmer pattern for my friend’s daughter..I like it so much that I bought some Alpaca Yarn and plan on making some for myself that are longer....

Check out my new yarn basket! I found it for $2.50 last weekend at a garage sale..LOVE IT. OH, and yes, you can be jealous of my new muck boots..found them on target’s website
