I’m trying to catch up a little here..first, a couple new dishes we had recently..
The first, a BBQ Pork Sandwich, Memphis style with coleslaw. This was the first time I made BBQ pork this way, I just put the pork butt in the crock pot, with a few of our favorite spices, a little sauce..not much, and a let it cook on low for a while, when it was done, I chopped it up and put our standard BBQ sauce as of late which happens to be Blues Hog..it’s a sweet sauce..we are about to make our own sauces but more on that later..
The cole slaw I make like my Mother in Law does,
1 Bag of Cole Slaw Mix
around 1 cup Sour Cream
around 1/2 Mayonaisse
I usually chop up one small onion or half a large onion..any kind you like..I’ve used vidalia, white and red..
Seasoning Salt to taste…
The salty taste of the Coleslaw mixes well with the sweetness of the sauce we used..

If you are a Schwan’s Customer..this is a great dish to try..something I threw together one lunch for us.
1 bag of their new Six Cheese Tortellini

1 bag of their Garlic Herb Shrimp

I put some butter in a skillet, warmed the shrimp that way, just sauteeing. Made the pasta salad as directed and then stirred in the shrimp..very yummy..

The last week or two I’ve been on a hat making rampage..haha! This on is for a newborn baby boy I know..
This one was for a friend’s son..he and Emmagail are great friends..She snapped some pictures of him in it..I thought it turned out nicely..

And last, I’ve made two of these in the last three weeks..this one is one that a friend wanted to buy for her daughter..All three are my own designs..
